Quote From Today’s Srimad Bhagavatam
SB 10.48.2-4: HG Prem Kishore Prabhu
mahārhopaskarair āḍhyaṁ
kāmopāyopabṛṁhitam
muktā-dāma-patākābhir
vitāna-śayanāsanaiḥ
dhūpaiḥ surabhibhir dīpaiḥ
srag-gandhair api maṇḍitam
Trivakrā’s home was opulently appointed with expensive furnishings and replete with sensual accoutrements meant to inspire sexual desire. There were banners, rows of strung pearls, canopies, fine beds and sitting places, and also fragrant incense, oil lamps, flower garlands and aromatic sandalwood paste.

Gopal Campu says: Krsna, by going to Trivakra’s home, was showing that if he can reciprocate to her services, would He not reciprocate to the services of the Gopis?

Even Kubja knew Uddhava was a great personality and so he was also respected by her and offered a high seat. But respecting the position of Krsna, he just touched the seat and sat on the floor.

Srila Prabhupad has given us all details of how should be the life of a Vaisnava. Lord Caitanya requested Sanatan Gosvami to compose a manual for devotees describing the details of Vaisnava etiquette. So he wrote Hari Bhakti Vilas.

The purpose of following all rules and regulations is to always remember Krsna and never forget Krsna.

While following the rules of bhakti, we should remember that these are directly the order and desires of Srila Prabhupada and Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu. It takes mercy and blessings of the acaryas to follow these rules and regulations.
